Welcome to CannaPortugal - International Hemp & Cannabis Expo

Founded in 2021 by Graça Castanho, a university professor and cannabis consultant, CannaPortugal is Portugal’s premier International Hemp and Cannabis Expo. Independent of any affiliations, CannaPortugal aims to raise awareness and promote the cannabis industry globally, with a special focus on Portuguese-speaking countries.

Organized by Neuron Bonus, Confraria Internacional Cannabis Portugal, and GreenFits, in collaboration with various national and international organizations, CannaPortugal enriches the experience for participants from all over the world.

CannaPortugal provides a platform for expanding networks and engaging in cannabis science, innovation, education, economic prosperity, sustainability, entrepreneurship, healthcare, and human rights.

After four editions of CannAzores on São Miguel Island (2021–2023) and two editions of CannaPortugal in Lisbon (2022–2023), the third edition of CannaPortugal will take place on May 16 and 17, 2025, in Lisbon.

This edition of CannaPortugal will feature activities such as the III Global Cannabis Awards ceremony, B2B programs, panels, workshops, an exhibition hall, Cannabis Fashion Show, the Enthronement of the Confraria Internacional Cannabis Portugal, and Cannabis Show Cooking. With the participation of leading experts and projects from around the world, the event remains committed to delivering high-quality initiatives with science, integrity, and depth.

Event Venue

After two editions at the Centro de Congressos de Lisboa, CannaPortugal will now be hosted at a beautiful pavilion belonging to the Instituto Superior de Agronomia, as part of a partnership between CannaPortugal and this esteemed higher education institution. The event will take place in a unique glass and iron building, inaugurated in 1884 by King D. Luís. Located in the heart of Lisbon, this building is a landmark and a true work of art, surrounded by pristine nature.

Built for the III Agricultural Exhibition of Lisbon, the pavilion was inspired by national and international iron architecture, such as the Porto Crystal Palace and the Crystal Palace in Hyde Park, London. Over time, the pavilion became renowned for hosting important national and international exhibitions.

The organization will provide a van to transport visitors from the entrance gate of the Instituto Superior de Agronomia to the Exhibition Pavilion during the event hours.
